I, of course, love these. They might actually be my favorite versions of the characters because they're so stylized and comically proportioned. That Goofy is adorable. Think we could get these re-made for Soundsational?? ;-)

ReplyDeleteI have to disagree with Kevin - those characters look scary to me! I do love that switchboard, though. I worked on one in 1976, LOL!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you enjoyed this book, it is large but as I'm sure that you found, it is quite a quick read as it is difficult to put down and keeps you enthralled. Dumas still has to be the best adventure writer ever. If you liked this you should read 'The Black Tulip' that in some ways is a smaller version of this, and is absolutely brilliant.
