Do It BIG!

These 3 shots are from a Special Event
we did, in the early 80s,
up in Burbank
at
The Disney Studios

Captain Hook hasn't changed all the much ...
Big heads or not, I miss the Pigs...
Standing here giving notes is Bonnie Cox
Our Show Director and Choreographer

We all loved Bonnie,
Patient, kind and so much fun to work with!

Some days these costumes could be a pain...
but looking at Pooh and Fiddler,
How can you not smile?

Disneylands Skull Rock

I MISS SKULL ROCK!
This is from The Disney News Magazine Fall 1981
I sure miss the "Tuna Boat" and Skull Rock.
this was such a great area of the park, cool, shade
and just a fun place to work...
I remember when we shot this ad I thought

"Now this is Disneyland!"

These next 3 pictures are from 1978
In these next 2 pictures is character/park groupie
"Ellen"
she would be in the park almost everyday during the summer.
and this was before the Annual Pass!

Hook, Hook and More Hook!!

Captain Hook through the years!!!

1964 - My first trip to the park...

In this photo I love how Peter Pan looks a little busty and is wearing a watch.
Hook doesn't wear gloves and the cool mod guy in the plaid pants.

Early 1980 - O the fun we had on that big ship!!!
The "Tuna Boat" and that great scull rock!

This photo was taken on the Columbia sailing ship at Disneyland.

Why were Hook and Smee in Tomorrow land?
They were in a show on the Space stage [The Disneyland Story]
that summer and before the show would do meet and greets...

Photo taken mid 80s - in front of the Peter Pan Ride

All leading up to the New Hook... The Hook of today.
New Face, New Clothes... same Sword!
