Disneylands LIVE Christmas trees

Is it just me, or does anyone else miss the
LIVE Disneyland Christmas trees?

Here's and article from an old Disney News,
on where the trees come from...
and how they get here.

An old Post Card of the town sq. tree
These trees looked REAL!
[because they were]
they had character and charm!
not a perfect cone shape...with LED lights...

and one of my favorite pictures of us
decorating the Town Sq. tree
for a photo shoot. Now don't get me wrong,
I love all the lights on the Castle and the show!
but I miss the white flocked trees,
with the blue and white lights,
that used to be in the moat.
These next few shots are Pictures I had taken
so I could use them for my Christmas cards. I MISS THE TREES!

Less is more. There's something about the simple (and real) decorations of the early years of the park that is much more heartfelt and touching.

These old photos of decorations past are beautiful! Like you, I do miss the real tree, however, I have to admit that I have a heavy heart when I think of a glorious tree being cut down simply for our temporary enjoyment. Talk about being town in two directions! *heavy sigh*
